Andrea Marenco-Snyder
E-RYT 500, Meditation Teacher
Andrea Marenco-Snyder, known as Prema, is a specialist in transformative learning, applied philosophy, and embodied practice. With over a decade of experience, her work focuses on integrating traditional yogic frameworks with modern methods of teaching, learning, and human development.
As Co-Founder of the Therapeutic Yoga Institute, she leads curriculum design and program development for foundational and advanced teacher trainings. Her approach emphasizes clarity, structure, and direct experience equipping students to understand, apply, and teach yoga with precision and depth.
Prema’s background includes five years of full-time study and service in a residential ashram setting, faculty experience training and mentoring yoga teachers, and ongoing leadership roles in large-scale education environments. She has guided hundreds of students through certification programs and continues to teach therapeutic and mindfulness-based practices in both group and one-on-one settings.
She is also the founder of Omprov Lab, where she developed The Laboratory for Presence—an interdisciplinary system that integrates movement, improvisation, and contemplative practice to train awareness, adaptability, and authentic expression.
Her work is defined by structure, consistency, and applied knowledge. She invites students to think critically, teach responsibly, and engage yoga as a practical tool for transformation in modern contexts.
